Daily Motivational Message
MY "MOTIVATIONAL MESSAGES"
"Everyone who got where he is, has had to
begin where he was", (Robert Louis Stevenson)
Personally to me a, "MOTIVATIONAL
MESSAGE" could be an individual experience that a person
shares with others to suggest alternative, and positive words of encouragement
to allow growth and discovery. It can share how to find oneself and where you'd
like life to take you, because there maybe insularity, insecurity, hopelessness,
or many of life challenges that cannot be achieved . As with any
important challenges in life, one must set clear goals, and work to accomplish
them. It takes a lot of planning, time management, and an overall positive
attitude, because it is kind of like an joyous adventure. Make the most of it
because someday you'll think back and remember this experience positively, and
have a sense of accomplishment and much pride. Lastly, think of yourself as an
explorer, and your out to make great discoveries, like finding wonderful things
about yourself, the world, and each day you will have new areas to explore.
There are many new places to go in this world, and alot of things to learn,
especially yourself, and how you can grow into a more established, purposeful
human being.
Remember you are not alone in this adventure of
life, there are others who also need some support and encouragement. Why not
possibly consider my suggestive "MOTIVATIONAL MESSAGES" that have
worked for me, as I hope they will impact you positively. You can then feel
much enrichment and fulfilled as I do, when you can develop your own
"MOTIVATIONAL MESSAGES" to guide others on their road to success.
1). HIGHER POWER. My higher power is God,
however we are all individuals, who have different beliefs as to who or what
their "higher power" may be. You must believe that this "high
power " is a mighty power, and gladly embrace it and accept what it has to
teach you. You should strive for this union between your purposes in life and
the purposes of the Divine Principle that directs the universe. In merging your
heart and mind with the heart and mind of the "Higher Power", a
oneness of purpose results, becoming attuned to harmony and music of the
spheres in the universe. Without a doubt, I believe that my God will protect me
from the forces of evil, if I call on Him, and rely on Him. He has proved His
love for me, and delivered me from my own destruction. I am now
"saved" and my faith is renewed. Whatever or whomever, you
regard as your "higher power" is infinitely necessary for your
spiritual well being.
2). REFLECTION: Set aside time for quiet
reflection, and meditation. This is crucial because you need to stay
focused, and renew your strength through quietness, it will help you to reflect
on your actions, goals and how to reach them. Further this will give substance
to your thinking processes, thus reinforcing your goals. One should use this
time to reflect on how you can balance your social activities versus your
personal time. Don't be afraid to say NO to any demands of this personal
reflective time. Five to ten minutes at the beginning of your day, midday, and
the end of your day is suggested. Sometimes if I feel overwhelmed, and unable
to stay alert or focused during daily intervals, then I talk out my concerns,
problems or challenges with someone I can trust and confide in. Such as a professor
or academic counselor if it's an educational concern, or a personal therapist
or counselor if it's a more private matter. Either way, they maybe able to
change your mindset to a more positive way to confront such challenges before
they become out of hand, and not cause futuristic problems down the road.
Personally, I find each of them admirable, a strong source of support and
guidance, and I trust their judgment greatly.
3).AVOID STRESS AT ALL COSTS: There are two
kinds of stress that effect us.
"EUSTRESS" and "DISTRESS".
Eustress keeps you motivated, focused, and drives you on to face everyday
challenges with positivity. Distress is what happens when we overreact to
things, buy worrying, and becoming anxious, this is can result with negative
thoughts and health problems. The leading cause of stress is time management.
Making and following a daily list of your schedules is important. I
suggest a daily planner or a journal. Prioritize your daily work, and create a
list of important items or tasks, and keep them a top priority. Writing down your ideas will give substance
to your thinking and thus reinforcing your goals for the day, and by checking
off each task you will feel more accomplished.
I find humor and positive thinking goes a long
way in helping to fight stress. If you can make light of a stressful situation
and keep your mind set positively on your goals, and how to reach them, you
will ultimately win the battle over stress.
4). FORGET THE PAST:: Don't dwell on the past,
because life goes on with or without you. Don't live in a constant state of
remorse and fear if your past was unholy and continues with morbid attractions,
vague forebodings and an uncertain future. The best method is to face the
present. Now is the time, the past is beyond recall. It is over and gone
forever. Nothing can can be done about it, and don't dwell on your past
failures. Make any amends or restitution that you can, and go onward with
faith, cast off any burdens, or memories that haunt you. You will see the clouds
will clear and your way will lighten. Your path of life will become less stony,
and crooked with every step forward. You can be made whole and free, even
though you may have wrecked your life in the past. Now is the time, Now is
yours. The future is as uncertain as life itself, only the now belongs to you.
5). ATTITUDE: This is a daily practice
that is absolutely necessary. Keeping a positive attitude will help understand
your problems, and formulate new habits, more normal habits, that are
significant to your ultimate purpose. Learn daily lessons of trust, faith and a
calmness towards any sorrow or difficulties the day will bring. Have humility
and gratitude, as these attributes are a necessity to those who seek a better
life. GRATITUDE WILL BRING HUMILITY AND HUMILITY WILL BRING YOU TO A BETTER
LIFE. Be grateful, humble, calm and loving to all people. Leave each person
feeling better that they have met you or heard you, and put aside any
judgemental or bias indiscretions towards others that you meet. For all
kinds of people, this should be a reflection of your positive attitude,
and a sincere desire to help if necessary. You really have the answer to
loneliness and fear, it is your positive attitude that is a calm faith in the
goodness and purpose of the universe. Maintaining a confident attitude will
help you feel more secure no matter what happens.
I hope you have enjoyed my suggestive methods,
and possibly consider them to help you along your way. Please understand that
these are my personal opinions and suggestions for a more motivating lifestyle
that proved effective to me. I developed these methods on my own, and utilize
them constantly.
